An exploration of the small and medium-sized digital traders’ payment ecosystem

How to position new products in the dynamic means of payment scene in Brazil? In three research cycles, we investigated the experiences of traders with means of payment and financial management. We also explored the perception of value related to different concepts elaborated by the WhatsApp design and product team.

We partnered with the Meta research team, conducting rapid iterations in each cycle to incorporate adjustments and extensions as insights emerged from the field. Together, we identified new strategic opportunities and value territories for the company.
