Turn Mambo's website into the best grocery e-commerce in Brazil. To achieve this goal, we took Mambo's perceived qualities –like always having fresh products–, we ordered lettuce in London, São Paulo and San Diego, and we did workshops with the client to define which features to develop.
We had an immersion phase targeting a benchmark. We interviewed Mambo's architect responsible for the store layout for the chain, and customers. With that in mind, we went to UX design focused on showing that Mambo offers a great range of quality goods.
Benchmark and Workshop
We held a cognitive walk on 2 Brazilian and 2 foreign websites analyzing them from the standpoint of a regular user.
We also did a workshop with approximately 25 people from Mambo. This workshop resulted in a well-defined scope covering content, features and essential tools for all areas involved in the project.
The wireframes started with a well aligned and mature set of requirements for both desktop, tablet and smartphone versions.
At the same time, we've prototyped Mambo's mobile app.
The result was a modern and easy to use e-commerce which has exceeded client's expectations.
